Seven Tips to Keep Your Guests Happy During the Hot Summer Season

Typically, both in America and abroad, summer is accompanied by high temperatures. These high temperatures do not nevertheless dissuade or prevent the plans of those who seek an unforgettable vacation. As I have earlier mentioned, it is always important to prioritize and to create spaces that are both favorable and comfortable for our guests so that they may feel at home. In the case of high temperatures, this is something that can affect not only those who suffer from medical conditions made worse by the heat but also healthy children and adults. So, it is especially important during the summer season that our rental properties have all that is necessary to provide our guests with comfortable spaces that appeal to their health and well-being. Take notes, hosts and co-hosts, because, up next, I will give you some tips to consider to avoid discomfort or any issues with your guests.

Tip 1:

Make sure your air conditioning unit is up-and-running and carefully maintained.

Tip 2:

Make sure you leave guests with clear written instructions on how to properly use your rental property’s air conditioning unit, along with a note that they should contact you with any difficulties (P.S. leave your phone number).

Tip 3:

Make sure your cleaning team dusts and otherwise cleans the exterior of your air conditioning unit, as these resemble ceiling fans that easily gather dust and grime that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Tip 4:

Make sure you change your air conditioning units’ filter once in a while; this will ensure that your property is clean, especially in terms of air quality, as well as being an incredible way to save energy as clean air conditioning units work better and thus expend less energy.

Tip 5:

If your property does not have a ceiling fan, you should seek to buy one, but preferably two, to store in some space of your rental property in case there is an unexpected emergency with your air conditioning unit. This can temporarily solve issues that will more than likely make guests uncomfortable.

Tip 6:

As I’ve said of your property’s air conditioning unit, you should also ensure that your rental property has cold water and that it’s being piped through each shower, as during the summer guests tend to prefer long and cold showers.

Tip 7:

As always, you could also include small items that could prove to be monumental for guests, such as leaving a few bottles of water in the refrigerator, which will be cold and ready for their arrival and which will be much appreciated.

These are only a few of the many tips I have so that both you, host or co-host, and your guests feel satisfied with your booking and that there are no inconveniences that could affect a guest’s stay or your pocket (prevention equals avoiding expenses on repairs and maintenance).

I hope these tips helped, and I wish you and your guests a great summer!
