My Airbnb in the Spring

Springtime is an anticipated season for vacation and adventure lovers as they can enjoy sunny days and fresh air outdoors or even days of romantic rain, which compels us to enjoy a day of relaxation indoors. But what role do Airbnbs play in all this? It’s simple.

As I mentioned, the Springtime attracts many who enjoy going out and exploring or basking in a well-deserved vacation, whether alone or accompanied by friends or family.

Take note that one of the first thoughts for guests’ when planning to go on vacation is to choose the accommodation where they can best enjoy their days and have an unforgettable experience. As a co-host, this is why I prepare to warmly welcome all guests — those who leave the comfort of their homes and choose to enjoy the much-awaited Spring. Above all, it is crucial to create a plan that can be adapted to each of your guests’ needs so that they can enjoy the Spring weather. One thing I always account for is to create a folder or binder with local activities, such as sporting events, crafts, outdoor recreational activities, and sightseeing tours, among others.

Similarly, arranging and maintaining a property’s garden, terrace, or patio captures my attention during this time. I like to give these areas my personal touch because this is a time when guests enjoy going into the backyard and enjoy the Spring weather preparing outdoor meals, such as barbecues. Some guests even improvise by setting up a plastic pool that allows them to take a dip and feel refreshed. The idea is that we all enjoy and get the most out of the long-awaited Spring.

I also like to provide my guests with excellent service. I implement some small ideas that attract their attention and acceptance. Among them, and for the Spring, is preparing a small basket that contains one or more items for an outdoor picnic. I also incorporate two bicycles that guests can use on one of those sunny days where many prefer to go out. For ice cream lovers, I try to include a gift card to the nearest ice cream shop. It doesn’t have to be a gift card with a lot of money, but something that will impress your guests — remember, small details make all the difference.

As an Airbnb co-host, I can assure you that countless ideas can help your property stay in the public eye and maintain the acceptance of those who visit your property. It is not just about renting a property. This industry involves a lot of work and effort. We should keep ourselves updated on everything that happens, such as times, dates, and seasons, where we should adapt our spaces and make them dynamic and affordable for everyone.

Always offer your guests excellent service. Never forget the importance of good customer service, kindness, respect, responding promptly to guests’ concerns, and updating them immediately when requested.
